What is the Special Enrollment Period?

The Special Enrollment Period (SEP) is a period of time during which Minnesotans can enroll in a private health plan or change enrollment to another private plan if they experience a qualifying life event such as having a baby, getting married, moving to a new area, or losing existing health coverage.
