Common MNsure Technology Barriers
When utilizing the MNsure website, consumers may come across a variety of access barriers and error messages. Our Navigators here at Briva Health are well versed in common online application error messages or issues that may arise when trying to apply for health insurance.
One of the most common occurring barriers to accessing the MNsure site occurs when attempting to create an online account. Consumers may see an error message that populates after submitting their personal information for the account request that reads “Online Services Problem” and will direct a consumer to call the MNsure Contact Center to learn more.
Most often, this error populates if someone is new to the state, if someone has little to no credit, or if you have not filed a tax return recently. There are other reasons this message can populate, and reaching out to a Navigator will help you get the issue resolved in a timely manner.
Navigators will help troubleshoot the error message in an attempt to create an online account. If these troubleshooting steps are unsuccessful, we will submit an account request to MNsure manually. MNsure will process the request within 10-14 business days before sending the login credentials to the Navigator a consumer is working with. Once the request is back, the application can be submitted.
Online service errors may also happen if there are duplicate accounts, if an open case currently exists, or for a number of various reasons. If you are experiencing an online service error, call Briva Health today at 855-5MNSURE (855-566-7873) or schedule an appointment.
